PS3 gamers ask Geohot to give it up already
The war between Sony and Geohot may be over, but this may only be the beginning of the whining. This affair has been dragging on for several months now and gamers have started speaking out against Hotz’s crusade.
Even though Sony was winning the case, the company essentially let Hotz off the hook by agreeing to settle. However, it appears that he continues his crusade against Sony.
Hotz recently posted on his blog:

If you’d like the legality of jailbreaking your PS3 resolved, file for a declaratory judgment on the issue. Keep it out of the ninth circuit, and you’ll probably have a good shot. To anyone seriously considering this, get in touch with me.
Hotz initially refuted any claims that he profited by hacking the PS3 by receiving donations. The court granted Sony access to Hotz’s Paypal account which revealed that he did indeed receive donations. Then he swore up and down that he never opened a PSN account, which would entail accepting Sony’s terms of agreement. Sony traced Hotz’s IP address, proving that he did indeed create a PSN account.
This final piece of evidence resulted in the judge ruling Hotz to hand over his hard drive to Sony. Hotz then went on “vacation” to South America, leaving a crucial piece out of the hard drive before handing it over to Sony.
Hotz’s supporters then accused him of using the money donated for lawyer fees to take his vacation trip to South America, to which he flat out denied. According to Hotz, the vacation was paid for by using “his” money and not the “donation” money.
Regardless of what Hotz claims or states his intents were, the facts are that his work lead to the hack that led to piracy. A wise man once said, “With great power comes great responsibility,” a mantra talented people such as Hotz should live by.
Unlike his iPhone exploits, Hotz has not been receiving the type of fame he probably hoped for. As can be seen across various forums and even on Hotz’s blog, most gamers are actually speaking out against hackers like Hotz, and urging them to stop their antics. With the evolution of video games, online gaming has become just as crucial as the single player experience.
As experienced briefly for a short period of time on the PS3, mutliplayer gaming was not pleasant with hackers running amok. Luckily, Sony applied what the famed hacker KaKaRoToKS called an “Epic save” which ultimately fixed the exploit.
At the end of the day it really comes down to gamers wanting to maintain the integrity of their online gaming. There is no one stopping you from hacking your console, just don’t broadcast that information out to the public.

Its good to know the PS3 Fortress #WINNING! on all battle fronts amidst the heavy bombardment being thrown at it by:
1) the M$ Gaming Division & PR Department;
2) the American and British gaming media bought out by M$;
3) the hacking and slashing pirates society funded by M$;
4) Nintendo;
5) and most of all the dwindling number of Xbots scattered around America.
I must say I am quite dissapointed that a monsterous giant American PC company like M$ is not able to destroy a li’l ole Japanese console brand owned by an ailing electronics company.
I am sure even if given 15 years M$’ billions will not be enough to erase 15 years of PlayStation gaming tradition across the globe.
Sorry M$ Xbox your 1 year head start is not enough … you just don’t have the mojo and appeal of PlayStation no matter how you try to copy it.

PS3 didn’t “outsell” the 360. Just more people are using PS3 right now than the 360 as identified as “active” users.
This obviously is due to the RROD fiasco inflating 360 sales as nine months existed when the 360 was out of warranty and MS extended the warranty. All launch console that broke at that time required a new purchase.

I can’t condone people hacking games for the purpose of greifing or to gain an unfair advantage over other players in MP games like CoD. That’s just not right at all.
Of course not all hacking it bad though.
Case in point, I just put custom firmware on my PSP. Now I can easily put the UMDs I own on a memory stick instead and play them that way, which has several benefits.
1) Loads a little faster
2) Slightly improved battery life
3) I don’t have to carry around all my UMDs.
4) Don’t have to switch UMDs to play a different game.

I played as a male warrior, good guy, also imported a save from DA:O were I was also a good guy. I ended up siding with the mages in the end, because it seemed like the Templar bitch was crazy.
- Carver – gets smashed by an Ogre and becomes road kill early on on the game.
- Bethany – I took her with me into the Deep Roads. She became corrupted by Dark Spawn blood, so I was forced to kill her by my own hand.
- Mother – got killed by the psycho mage, that I let live from a previous mission. He killed her, cut her up, and stitched her together with other corpses, and then reanimated her – so I was forced to kill her again.
- Anders – i was pissed that he chose to blow up the damn chantry at the worst possible moment. Despite the fact that he was a total jackass, I let him live because I needed a healer.
- Isabella – I had a sexy one night stand with. The bitch stole the Qunari’s book from me, but choose to give it back at the last possible minute. I refused to let the Arishtok take her, so I had to duel him one-on-one. Isabella was the only person who stuck with me after the game’s ending.
- Meryl – I had sex with her also. We started a relationship, and she ended up moving in with me. I helped her with the mirror, the Keeper sacrificed herself to save Meryl. As a result, we were forced to kill the entire Dalish Elf community. Ha!
- Verric – was my friend. I saved his brother and had him committed. I didn’t let Verric take the idol. He was pissed, but ended up forgiving me.
- Aveline – was also my friend. I helped her hook up with Captain Donic, and she eventually married him. She disagreed with me siding with Mages, but stuck around to help me.
- Fenris – was a douche bag. He stood against me during the final battle – bad idea. I killed his ass and left him dead.
- Sebastien – he story quest was just ok, but I didn’t end up using him that much. He stood against me during the final battle, but left to get more troops to kill Anders.

If you play as a Rogue or Warrior Carver dies against the Ogre, but if you chose Mage Bethany bites it instead.
If you don’t take Bethany/Carver to Deep Roads with you you end up losing them to the Circle/Templars, repsectively.
If you take your sibling + Anders to the deep roads then you have a chance to save them by making them a Grey Warden.

PlayStation C.A.M.P (New Sony Developer)is making a new PS3 exclusive Tokyo Jungle. The games is gonna be awesome.
Tokyo Jungle has two modes: Story and Survival.
In Story Mode, the player plays through missions centered around various animals. Eventually, the player will discover the truth behind mankind’s disappearance. A Pomeranian dog and thoroughbred racehorse are key characters in the story.
In Survival Mode, the player takes control of an animal and fight for survival against other animals for as long as possible. Tokyo Jungle has online leaderboards so the players can compare their survival skills against one another. Smaller animals will fight in groups, and the player’s group can win fights against larger animals by just having one of the group survives the fight.
The player will have to build up a pack of animals. This is easier for some plant eaters, which means the player may not necessarily be at a disadvantage even if a weaker type was chosen.
There are 50 breeds and 80 types of animals to be expected. Animals confirmed for Tokyo Jungle include lion, crocodile, tiger, giraffe, chimpanzee, hippo, cheetah, chimpanzee, gazelle, chicken, beagle, tyrannosaurus, and fox. As the player plays through the game, additional playable animals will be unlocked.

DA2 is not a bad game, it had plenty of room for improvement though.
While the environments are blah, the combat is pretty fucking tight.
I’m on my second playthrough, but I am taking my time with this one. Been playing other games too, where with my first playthrough I didn’t really play anything else at the time.
My first playthrough I was a Rogue and I really liked the way the class was set up.
My second playthrough I decided to choose a Mage. I am pleasently surprised at how well the Mage plays. It certainly isn’t a wait and see class like it is in other games.
Here is the fun thing…
My first time I couldnt get the Sebastian achievements cause they were glitched, but I can get them now.
Also my first time through I sided with the Mages, so now I have to side with the Templars, even though I FahKin hate them and I am a Mage myself lmao.

I agree about the combat. The sound, look, and feel was really well done.
I started playing DA: O ultimate Edition. It took a little while to adjust to the slower pace of battles again.
I started off with Lelianna’s Song. I put about 2 hours in and I think I’m only halfway through it. I’m really interested to see what kind of a role she’ll play in DA2′s DLC/expansions.

dragon age 2 is fucking epic, i actually prefer the redesigned combat…its way better IMO. btw is there any word on dlc for DA2? also i think dragon age 3 will have the hero of ferelden and the champion of kirkwall working together or something because remember what the seeker says at the end? and im b etting that it will have something to do with the mage uprising and the urgent matter the two grey wardens hint about in the battle against the qunari…what do you guys think?
