Valve: Portal 2 was almost a prequel to the first game
In an interview, Valve revealed that Portal 2 almost became a prequel with many of the fan favorite characters gone from the game. However, a final decision was made to turn the game into a proper sequel.
I am currently playing through Portal 2 for review and I have to say that the story in the game is quite good. The writers that did the dialog work deserve a gold star for GLaDOS. The banter from the neurotic robot is quite entertaining.
While Chell, the female lead you control, is mute you do grow some sort of bond with the character just from the way GLaDOS interacts with you after each puzzle is solved. Valve writers, Chet Faliszek and Jay Pinkerton revealed to Rock Paper Shotgun that they had originally planned Portal 2 to take place before the first game.
Cave Johnson, the founder of Aperture Science, was also supposed to be the main villain of the second game. Since the game would take place while Cave Johnson was alive, GLaDOS would not be in the game, for reasons I won’t go into as it contains spoilers. In addition Chell would not be in the game. There was even some talk of not having portals in the Portal 2.
However, the writers felt that the fans “wanted more portals, they wanted GLaDOS, they wanted to be Chell.”
It was us trying to try new things, but then I think realizing that we missed a lot of the elements that made the Portal 1 story.
I’m glad that they decided to turn Portal 2 into a sequel instead of a prequel. However, that isn’t to say that I wouldn’t mind going up against Cave Johnson one day.

The dialog writing was great. I can’t really say too much about the story though. Most of the dialog didn’t advance the story at all, but simply added banter and dark humor. Cave johnsons dialog was the only one that progressed any of the story, and I saw the Catherine thing coming a mile away.
I’d like to know how the testing software makes robots evil.

Just like last year, Sony has started revealing their exclusives before E3.
Starhawk has been confirmed and here are some leaked info:
-Will be officially reveal in mid May
-The main gameplay elemets remain much the same. Starhawk is a 3rd-person shooter with jeeps, APCs, tanks, and now spaceships
-Starhawk runs on a brand new engine that provides stunning visuals.
-The game will feature a single player campaign

Portal 2 still doesn’t work for me damn firmware LoL.
My PS3 plays almost all PS3 games and also it plays perfectly all Super Nintendo games, SEGA Genesis games and more. Plus I got my Dreamcast via Bllem cast to read all crash bandicoot and well all ps1 iso.
