BioWare: Mass Effect 3 delayed to add more polish
BioWare recently revealed that the highly anticipated title Mass Effect 3 will be delayed into 2012 for a very good reason. The studio apparently wants to spend some more time polishing the game before its release.
Mass Effect 3 was set to release later this year during the holiday season. However, executive producer, Casey Hudson updated gamers on the official BioWare forums that the game will be delayed into 2012. However, one good bit of news is that its getting delayed by only a few months.
Hudson stated, “Today we have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012.”
The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.
The studio did release two new hot screenshots for Mass Effect 3 and the game looks pretty good. With the holiday season looking crowded with Call of Duty, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3 and Twisted Metal, this may be a blessing in disguise for gamers with a budget.

In other words: Bioware ran out of DVD discs to put it on for the 3rd60 and won’t get be able to stockpile enough discs until next year lol.

Do you ever drop the fanboy act? It gets old, and it makes you look as stupid as Kev and Ivan.
At any rate i’m glad its delayed by a few months. I don’t like the fact that they want to release it so soon after ME2. A year is bad enough but 10 months?! I really love the ME games and I REALLY don’t want to see them get fucked up like Dragon Age 2 did. DA2 was still a great game but it needed alot more work and way too many things were reused in the game. I dont want to see them do that in ME3 (at least not more than they did in ME before)

Hmm, coming from the fangirl Fahkin? The difference is though, when I put things like that I do it just for a laugh, not being serious at all, you do it because you`re a genuine fangirl. I reAlly didn¬t mean to hurt your feelings with the disc joke. Dw though, Fahkin, it`s not true, it`s called, wait for it …joking! Lighten up Fahkin, it`s a damn shame you can`t tell the difference between actual fanboyism and mock fanboyism. IMO this delay is actually good news. I’m going to be busy enough with Uncharted 3 and Skyrim.
Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have even been really for it.
