BioWare recently revealed that the highly anticipated title Mass Effect 3 will be delayed into 2012 for a very good reason. The studio apparently wants to spend some more time polishing the game before its release.

Sony recently posted an update on its official bog summarizing what the company told the subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade of the U.S. House of Representatives. Some of the details revealed are startling as it may hold the key as to who was responsible for the PSN hack.

Portal 2 is Valve’s latest mind-bending masterpiece with more of everything that made the first game great. The first Portal game came packaged with Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 in The Orange Box, making it an excellent value. However, can Portal 2 stand on its own as a fully fledged game?

Microsoft recently revealed that the company has formed a new game studio that will be working on an unannounced title for the Xbox 360. This apparently stems from concerns from the hardcore base regarding the lack of ‘core’ Kinect titles for the Xbox 360.

PSN is due to come back online (at least partly) sometime in the next week. With the outage coming to an end what lessons, if any, will Sony have taken away from the monumental mess?

Today Sony held a press conference in Japan to provide an update as to when PSN service will resume as well as answer questions from the press. PlayStation boss, Kaz Hirai took the stage to reveal that PSN service will resume this week.
