Sony unveils the most epic video game ad ever made
Earlier today Sony released a new ad revealing an amazing video that celebrates video gaming in general. According to Sony the goal of this ad was to recognize all gamers from different walks of live that have made what PlayStation is today.
According to Sony’s marketing wiz, Scott Steinberg, he sent out for a call last month to send in pictures of gamers holding a controller to assist in a new marketing campaign. As it turns out Sony selected a dozen die-hard gamers to represent the PlayStation Nation in this new Long Live Play campaign.
Steinberg points out that this special ad is like a game in itself as there are so many Easter eggs for fans of video gaming.
Towards the end of the film be sure to notice the collection of photos of your fellow members of the Nation. This is one small way of demonstrating our sincere “Thanks” and to celebrate your tremendous commitment to PlayStation’s thriving community. And with PS3s available for under $250 – we welcome all gamers to come on board to experience the best in Blu-ray gaming.
I have to hand it to the marketing team at Sony, they really hit this one out of the park. I was going to list out all of the Easter eggs and characters in the video for you, but decided to let our fellow readers spot them.

That one was a bit hit and miss for me FahKinSuPah and for your information there is talk about an Uncharted movie happening along with a noval titled Uncharted and the Fourth Labryth.
More importantly where’s Lara Croft and Could Strife and Sora and Jak plus Sly Cooper? They’re missing from this vid.

I agree with you about Lara Croft and Cloud Strike. FFVII and Tomb Raider certainly helped make the PS1 what it was.
