Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch confirmed for NA release in 2012
The beautifully crafted RPG, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has been confirmed to be coming to the US sometime next year. The game is set to release over in Japan early next month.
Ni no Kuni is the first video game to be developed by the Oscar winning Studio Ghibli in coordination with Level5. This is the same studio that made Spirited Away, Ponyo, Howl’s Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke. Many call Studio Ghibli the new Disney due to the studio’s ability to create fantastic magical worlds. The studio seems to have some of that magic Disney seems to have lost over the years.
Level5 recently released a new gameplay trailer of the PS3 game and it looks amazing. The game definitely has that Studio Ghibli signature animation and creativity.
The game seems to have everything RPG fans have been clamoring for – open world air travel, Zelda-like dungeon crawling, and an engaging battle system.

As reported by DualShockers the game will be launching November 17th in Japan, and sometime next year for North America.

Now if only the Wii would see a release of The Last Story and Xenoblades in the US. I’m really tired of seeing all these amazing RPGs not being released outside of japan.

It does amuse me that people still claim this site is impartial yet on the week that an xbox AAA title.is released we don’t have any news about it. Not only that a similar but less critically acclaimed game on the PS3 gets more coverage about its updates features. Good thing im back from sea to point these things out.

I’m just calling it like I see it! Forza 4 widely acknowledged as a better game then GT5 yet it gets very little coverage on here. in the week leading upto and after the release of GT 5 we saw numerous articles. This months forza and gears was released yet we see more uncharted and GT5 articles.

Yeah Blorg is so Pro PS3 they might as well change their name to reflect that coming here is a PS3 affair. It’s not about gaming news it all about PS3. The other systems are lucky if they get any mention or hype what so ever. Two of the best games this year and hardly a mouse squeek about it. They also decided to drop the NPD monthy stats. Actually when LBP2 was released there was loads of news on it.
We are talking about the fact that in the last month 2 critically acclaimed games have been released exclusively for the xbox yet this site thinks the advertising budget for uncharted and a game update for GT5 is bigger news. All I want to know what mikes justification for this is, after he has said repeatedly that this site is impartial.

Ni no Kuni is the kind of game that needs more exposure. I’m a fan of Studio Ghibli, and “Zelda” like RPGs.
Every 360 fanboy is already drinking Monster Energy drinks, and “curb stumpin’ newbs”.
Gears came out a few weeks ago, and it’s not news. A game that hasn’t been released yet, is news.

which one? I know there’s one way to get about 9K in about 2 minutes. You buy 99 Prism Stone (10 souls each) from the Undead Lady in the sewers..and then you give them to Frempt and he gives you 100 for each.
I don’t want to cheat until my 2nd playthrough. Also there are some items that you can only get from playing online.

It’s in the Ash Lake. When you get the dragons head, there’s a glitch that let’s you duplicate items. So you can duplicate souls as much as you want. Could also be really helpful with weapon upgrades.
I’d like to play online more, but it just doesn’t seems as easy to use. I tried summoning a phontom last night… it failed. But then I got invaded 2 times in a row. Does bansihing them do anythign bad to you?

not that I know of…You get one humanity point and all their souls if you beat them. I have beaten a few of them.
btw, what’s the best weapon to upgrade. upgrade stones are hard to find and to get in this game.
Lighting path is the way to go I think.

I haven’t really looked into upgradding much yet. I’ll check out the guide when I get home. What kind of weapon? just high attack, or best overall?
The black phontom who killed me yesterday, cast slow, and before I could even hit him, he cast a spell that one shot killed me. Some kind of big explosion. I couldn’t even touch him.

I’m still pissed I missed the drake sword. I’m pretty sure that’s one of the best for a while. You’re probably past that point though.
I just beat the gapping dragon last night. One time a phantom killed me, and then i got cursed, and then the dragon one hit killed me a few times lol.
The dragon was easy, but I was too over encumbered. I couldn’t get far enough away from him. He did that jump moved and landed right on time of me a few times. Lighter armor, and equipment made a huge difference.
Am I going to get cursed again in Blight Town? I’ll stock up before I go.

Heres why Forza abd Gears I guess get no coverage:
Gears 3: great game, but nothing really new to see here.. An article was released here and the lagging review should have been here….im not trying to knock,gearsm what,it does, it does great, but its NOTHING groundbreaking or genre defining..hell its nit even a graphical achievement whatsoever…
Forza: Basically, GT clone….the graphics are, as EVERY review has put it, ‘Sometimes’ better than GTs.. Like gears, Forza isnt breaking any new grounds in this genre that GT hasnt done before, nor has forza set any bew graphical standards…froza had I believe 3 articles leading up to its release….
And thats all the 360 has had to,offer this,year in terms of AAA exclusives….
Uncharted is setting graphical standards, gameplay standards, story telling standards and Sony is finally getting off,its ass and actually advertising its games….thats news worthy…
Face it, from here on out it,will be a ps3 dominated indsustry until we see what the next gen will bring, mark my,words, ive yet to,be wrong in ALL my gaming years….i should make my own website

^^ this is why I dont give forza the crown..its got GT beat in many areas, including online community, customization, dlc support, better range of cars, and some times graphics, but GT has it on physics, handling, mostly graphics, track accuracy, and sheer amount of content, including rally races, f1, nascar and even kart ( did forza 4 have karts if so scratch this) GT just spanks here….
Once or if forza manages to beat gt out,in those categories, on top of its current categories, id get a 360….
That abd mech assault 3 with drop ships in multuplayer…most under rated fun ive ever had in a game!

So you basically want an article stating Forza released last week? We mentioned this a dozen times this past year as it can even be found here on the article about the demo for Forza 4 dropping on Xbox Live :

Of course this is a PS3 site, well at least Mike is and he seems to be the only one posting recently. There’s nothing wrong with that, everybody has their preferences. I’m sure there are many 360 fan sites out there.

Thanks for reminding us all that LBP2 is the highest rated exclusive in 2011. Both Forza 4 and Gears 3 failed to match its score even though LBP2 has been out for 10 months already. Uncharted 3 should widen the gap even further.
and I did replied to your comment about R&C and pointed out how you only quoted half of what I said to make it look like I meant it in a different way. R&C still offer a pixar/animinated (call it w/e you want) experience. Backed up by reviewers, critics and awards.

How did he prove me wrong I never asked for a article saying its been released, I asked for the same sort of coverage that GT 5 had like a review cover so.e features like the kinect integration. Uncharted and GT both recieved this we even had an article on the mixed reviews of GT.

Xbox360 news–Disney and Microsoft have announced an eight month partnership to promote the Disneyland Adventures Xbox360 game.
Microsoft has aplogized for their Npd Xbox360 sale figures. Microsoft admits to making an error. They say that they actually sold over 400,000 units last month.
Some Xbox360 users have had unauthorized Fifa 2012 purchases made with their credit cards.

Also popular games tend to get more coverage and we all know GT is way more popular than Forza, specially in EU/AUS (and Blorge is a EU/AUS site). I don’t expect Dark Souls to get as many articles as BF4, COD, Zelda, Mario, Gears, Uncharted, etc.

@roca so now because a game sells more (more popular) then it should get more attention ahead of game that the majority of critics are saying is better. I mean if this is the route you want to go down I’m happy, I expect to see more halo and gears articles then uncharted and KZ and resistance.

Popularity, sales and reivews are different things. So far Batman Arkham City has a 95 metacritic review and still no article about on Blorge, should we start crying and whining about it? Demon’s Souls/Dark Souls are two of my favorite games of all time and they barely get any news coverage because they are not as popular as other franchises.
now you’re trying to play dumb just because I said GT5 is more popular than Forza 4. Well GT5 is more popular and we all know that. Forza is a better game based on its review scores – simple as that.
You will never hear from me if Resistance, Killzone and Uncharted gets no coverage, I’ll rather enjoy those game and not worry about it whether they should get a news article on a website. This kind of shows how desperate you xbots really are.

-Sony and MS announce their holiday bundles.
KZ3,R3, and LBP2 for $249 for PS3 bundles 160GB.
Kinect, Monkey see monkey do, Kinect adventures for $299.
The other is a Halo Reach/Fable 3 bundle with the 250GB 360.
-Devil May Cry HD remastered collection coming to PS3/360.
-Gamesutra report. 360 outsells PS3 in US despite PS3 having an average lower price.
-Uncharted 3 season pass announced. Similar to gears 3 season pass.
-PSN trophy level cap raised.
