How to play inFamous: Festival of Blood with the Move
Sucker Punch recently released inFamous: Festival of Blood in time for Halloween and it packs quite a punch. The downloadable standalone title seems to come with a good amount of content for a low price.
The developer revealed that a new patch would be released soon that will enable Move support for inFamous Festival of Blood. The game is available on PlayStation Store for $9.99 and is a standalone title that doesn’t require inFamous 2.
In Festival of Blood, Zeke tells a spooky tale to a girl at a bar about Cole and how he turned into a vampire. Cole gains new powers in the game as he can fly through the sky as a swarm of bats and feed on humans and monsters.
The game features new enemies, locations and standalone story from inFamous 2. The downloadable game seems to also feature UGC mode, where gamers can create custom levels to let others play it.
In addition, there seems to be a new UGC features that will allow gamers to create custom comic strip story with dialog for others to watch while playing your custom levels. All of this can be done without needing to own inFamous 2.
It seems like a sweet deal and surprisingly offers a full blown experience for under $10.

I was trying this game out yesterday, I totally forgot I could use the Move to play this game.
I2: Festival of Blood is such a good game, for just $9.99 ($7.99 for PSN+ members) you get to revisit New Marais which is filled with vampires, you get a new whole new set of abilities and you get to play be a vampire as well.

@Phranc
I believe it’s somewhere around 3.3GB.
If you are thinking about picking it up, you better do it before today’s PSN Store update if you want to get the PSN+ discount.

I can’t buy from the store until I have a PSN card. They stopped selling them at Amazon, so I’m SOL until they either do, or I get to a physical store to pick one up. I should have this weekend when I was on line at a ticketmaster at a Mall to get my New Years Run Phish tickets.

Speaking of killing….
Killed The Executioner, and the Dragon Slayer guy. Also Knight Lutec (the guy who killed the fire keeper). Should I spend her soul to reinforce my flask, or do you get anything good for resurrecting her?
Going to do the Painted World next. Not sure where I’m going to head after. Maybe the catacombs, so I can make fire weapons.

“Should I spend her soul to reinforce my flask, or do you get anything good for resurrecting her?”
If you use her soul you won’t be able to use the bonfire in the firelink shrine….use her souls to resurrect her instead.

now that I can warp from bonfires, does it matter?
reinforcing sounds like it might be more useful.
November 2nd, 2011
You won’t be able to warp from that bonfire if you don’t resurrect her…
idk man, I killed the Fire Keeper of Anor Londo and every time I wanted to get out of that area I had to troop all the way to The Duke’s Archive. it was a pain in the ass.
If you’re close to beating the game then there’s no point on resurrecting her..
November 2nd, 2011
Not sure yet. When I’m close to beating the game, I’ll probably run around and kill them all so I get the flasks.
I’m still waiting on a great weapon. I’ve been using the Lighting Spear, but I’d rather have a sword. I haven’t found one that really impresses me yet.

Try using Uchigatana (Fire +10) or Uchigatana (Lighting +5)
