News Roundup: HBO GO and MLB.TV on Xbox, LBP 2 best levels and Rocketbirds on Vita
Ahead of schedule, Microsoft unleashed the HBO GO app today providing streaming service to HBO subscribers using the Xbox 360 system. Also, Sony unveils the winners of the LittleBigPlanet 2 level creator Sackies.
Microsoft has released the HBO GO app along with the XFinity app ahead of this Thursday, allowing already HBO and Comcast subscribers to watch a limited selection of content through the app. MLB.TV was also released on the Xbox 360 recently, a service that has been available on the PS3 since early 2010.
According to Microsoft users are now using their Xbox 360 more for watching videos than playing games online.
The winners of the Sackies have been revealed on the PlayStation Blog and all of the levels are amazing. The awards range from Best Cinematic to Best Story and Visuals. If you have LittleBigPlanet 2, its definitely worth checking out some of these masterfully crafted levels.
In other news, the popular PSN exclusive title Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken will be making its way to the PS Vita later this year. Rocketbirds is a 2D platform/shooter/puzzler, putting you in control of a crazy gun-toting chicken. Check out the PS Vita reveal trailer below:

Is Gamer.Blorge dying? People are commenting less and less around here. Looks like it might be time I leave as well then soon if it remains dead.
I’d obviously like to keep in touch with Roca, Carl and JoJo on the PSN. Get some BF3 games going down the line. I’m anxious to play it with the 1GB update.

Not so much dying as i just think its that tome of year where people are just out doing things, like during christmas season its not so busy here
as for myself, its my bday month, (bday is tomorrow ) and a lot of my friends wont be able to see me so diff friends have been taking me out every weekend this month: 1 st weekend was a dual bday thing…got drunk and celebrated…2nd weekend of march my sis took me to Big Bear (snowboarding for us californians and baby slopes for you with real winters lol) 3 rd weekend was San Diego bar crawl with my girl friends and best friend and last weekend we hit up Big Bear again…and this weekend is my bday weekend….been a fun busy moth and at work we are approach fiscal year so yall knkw how much of a headache that is and on top of that we have our GMED audit along with our own internal audit and after that an FDA audit…
Plus, aside from Twisted Metal, Jak and Daxter Collection….its a bit of game drought….unless ya have a vita…even worse if your a 360 tard…
Like dans mentioned, its just a phase and also i think a lkt of the 360 tards have left sue to

Depends on the player count. Extremely fair if it’s max players allowed on consoles (24?)
We used to rent out at $3 per/slot. So a 24 person server costs over $70. That was for FPS’s
A game like Neverwinter Nights went for more. The servers were all the max, and NWN was a bandwidth hog so you can only host a max of 2 per box meaning you were making less to host that game or you had to charge more per slot.
All this is based off a monthly plan.
Certain publishers started coming out with official servers which were almost double the price of ours. Epic for example used to rent their own servers out for the UT games. While I don’t think they were worth it performance wise, their servers were more user friendly than ours. In that I mean people could upload their own mods without bothering the server company, which wasn’t the case for us. If someone needed a change that large it was on us to do that.

That’s mostly how it works. It would be odd to rent to an individual who wasn’t clan affiliated.
