A survey from PopCap.com reveals 60% of caregivers don’t let their teenage girls play hardcore video games like Halo 3 and Bioshock. Conversely, they are nearly twice as likely to allow their teenage sons access to the same games.

If you read the fine print on the download screen from Warhawk (who ever does that, really?), you’ll see that the game sharing rules have been tweaked a bit.

US PS3 owners, don’t expect to see this add-on available in the US any time soon. In early 2008 PS3 owners in the UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain will be able to turn their machine into a TV tuner and personal video recorder (PVR) with Sony’s new PlayTV.

Maybe its because its easier for consumers to understand. Maybe its because it seems to be easier to get non-gamers to pick up and play with a Wii. Whatever the reason, the Wii is poised to take the lead in the UK theatre of the console war. The Nintendo Wii is set to surpass 1 million sales in the UK in the coming 4 weeks according to Chart-Track.
