It was March 2007. I sat with nearly seventy hours of my life wasted away playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Numerous times had I reset my Playstation, plagued by the constant lock-ups this game had offered. My character couldn’t take 5 steps without my gut twisting in fear, knowing that it’s just a matter of time before the game was to lock up again. “Perhaps they’ll get it right on the next game,” I said to myself.

If you haven’t heard already, Cafe World is a highly addicting Facebook application game that was release a little over a month ago and has since taken Facebook apps by storm, generating over 28 million active monthly users! The game isn’t hard by any means, but it’s a science if you want to be truly successful. It’s been a long wait for fans and director Tim Schafer who were nervously pondering the existence of Brutal Legend after a corporate merger left the game in the air. Ah, but the time has come, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t excited about next week’s release of Brutal Legend. With larger than life voice actors and a soundtrack that is guaranteed to please rock and metal fans alike, will it live up to such high expectations?

Whether or not you are ailed by frequent dropouts, failing game and system updates, and inconsistent transfer speeds, you may want to check your PS3 network settings. A good setup can not only assure you a good connection, but will keep your computer and home network safe and secure.

Students and staff at Morrisville State College had recently discovered areas of the campus where Bluetooth headsets would not sync to their cell phones. Baffled by this occurrence, the IT department brought in specialized radio frequency analysis software to pinpoint the cause of this problem, finding that the culprit was Microsoft’s Xbox 360.

Prosecutors in Germany have started to investigate anonymous members of the virtual world Second Life after a German TV news magazine, Report Mainz, uncovered a virtual child sex pornography ring, where users would pay Linden Money, Second Life’s version of Cash, to see pornographic images of children and buy sex with other players who pose as children using ‘skins’ or ‘avatars’ in a virtual sexual practice known as ageplay.

Who uses thumbs to play games anymore? Quite a ridiculous question, but one that may used in a couple years if a Silicon Valley company, NeuroSky has anything to do with it, as they look to games that can be controlled by brain waves.

Nintendo has finally created a new and significantly better version of the Internet Channel powered by, of course, Opera. Nintendo has surely done their research over the past few months by incorporating user submitted ideas and feedback to enhance the online Wii experience.
