Xbox 360 clear winner over PS3, Wii in terms of quality games

While consoles such as the PS3 may appear to have a higher concentration of good games, knowledgeable gamers may also consider the total number of quality games currently available for each console before buying. It seems that on this score, the Xbox beats the PS3 and Wii quite convincingly.






Violent media sells in many forms today, but the question seems to be, is it an influence to steer us to being more violent than we would have been in it’s absence? I would argue yes and no, depending on the situation. I would also argue that it can help us think more about morality and life in general.
The majority of those who have bought one over the other will stay with that one, not spend $350-$400 more for just one game, regardless of the differences, even in the face of downloadable content or achievements that extend gameplay.

I don’t own a Wii (yet), but have enjoyed my DS and GBA games over the years, observing more than once Nintendo’s success in the handheld market while it’s consoles, the N64 and Gamecube, were failing. What’s different with the Wii and why is it still selling out a year and a half after it’s release?
