There is a revision coming to the PS3 at some point later this year but the time frame remains an enigma. But, now it is believed to be coming in August with new, cooler running Cell and RSX graphic chips. The PS3 hasn’t even reached the "break even" point for Sony yet.

The Xbox has been no stranger to being accused of causing fires or actually causing a fire but this may be the first time that the power supply itself on the Xbox 360 has been blamed.

Many of us have already played Mass Effect on the Xbox 360 but just to play it. In my opinion, you don’t really experience the game until it is played properly with a keyboard and mouse and the only way to do that is with a PC.

You feel slighted by being an early adopter of HD-DVD players, I can’t say I feel your pain this time but I’ve been in similar circumstances. If you bought it from Amazon.com you will be getting $50 credit and there’s no better use for that $50 credit than to put it towards a PS3.

Those “sensitive” types in Australia are at work again; seemingly bent on keeping the content as it was meant to be experienced out of the hands of youths. The ever popular GTA (Grand Theft Auto) series has once again been edited by Rockstar in order to “fit” the Australian market.

Microsoft has shot down the latest Blu-Ray drive rumor and has apologized for the "red ring of death" failures and Xbox Live outages. What it is not being apologetic over is the lack of Blu-Ray support as Microsoft believes digital downloads are the future.

Reports from earlier today pointed to rumors that Lite-ON was producing a Blu-Ray drive for use in the next iteration of the Xbox 360. Microsoft, has once again, shot down those rumors saying that’s not the case.

The rumors regarding Blu-Ray drives for the Xbox 360 will never end; even if Microsoft continues to deny such plans. April’s Fools day gives many sites reason to post "fake" stories and this could well fall in that category, I won’t say it does and I won’t say it doesn’t; decide for yourself.

The problem with game ratings set up for all games/systems/consoles (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) is not that the package is clearly labeled by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) as to who can and who can’t purchase a game but that it is up to the retailer to enforce them. Most retailers like Best Buy, Gamestop and similar are only concerned with one thing; making a sale which breaks the whole system.
