Lux-Pain is a glimmer of what the future of interactive storytelling could be. The game is more like an interactive novel than an actual action game. However, the twists and turns in the story may leave you dizzy but satisfied in a bizarre way.

Blue Dragon Plus is the sequel to the highly hyped Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360. Unlike the home console version, the handheld version actually goes back to the basics, which does the game a world of good. The Dragon Ball-like characters are back for another run. The question is – can they deliver the goods this time around on the DS?

MLB The Show is one of the longest running licensed baseball game franchises out there. The game set the bar for baseball games last year with MLB 08: The Show. Now, with MLB 09: The Show, the game sets to raise the bar once again. With other games out there such as MLB 2k9, can the franchise stay on top?

The Resident Evil games are considered to be one of the most well known franchises out there. The series is about 13 years old now and has not lost much steam as Resident Evil 4 was considered to be the best in the series. With the launch of Resident Evil 5 looming ahead, many gamers will be wondering if it has what it takes to push the series forward.

Street Fighter II is considered to be the game that put fighters on the map. This game paved the way for the fighter genre to move from the arcade to the home consoles. When Fallout 3 came out a few months ago, the game made waves throughout the video game industry. The game also came under scrutiny for the realistic simulation of drug addiction which was a touchy subject in the land down under. However, arguably the realism in Fallout 3 is what could make it one of the best RPGs out there.

Killzone 2 is a game that has been hyped since day one at E3 where it was first revealed. The game turned heads when the target trailer was first shown with jaw dropping graphics. Sony ended up receiving some flak after it was revealed that the trailer was a target render. However, the question still remains – was Guerrilla Games able to hit the bar set by the target render?

Grand Theft Auto IV remains one of the best next-gen games available to buy. Most people who bought it last summer loved it to bits, although some tired of the repetitiveness of the missions towards the end. Enter GTA IV: The Lost and Damned, the first of two new episodes set in the same world and available exclusively on the Xbox 360.

Fable 2 is considered to be one of the most hyped RPGs to hit the Xbox 360. In part this was due to Peter Molyneux’s insistence that his latest creation will be the masterpiece the original failed to live up to. The question remains – does Fable 2 have what it takes to live up to the hype?

The method for inputting text on the PS3 is clunky at best, requiring multiple button presses and the concentration of a nuclear physicist to manage one word. Luckily, Sony has seen fit to release a Wireless Keypad in order to make the whole process much easier. Having used the keypad for the last few days, here are my thoughts on it.
