Microsoft clueless about PS3 Parental Control - Xbox 360 President Obama made a comment a few days ago using the Xbox as the whipping boy for problems with video games today. This comment has Microsoft riled-up resulting in a public response to President Obama’s comment. Interestingly enough, Microsoft claims that the Xbox 360 is the only console to have parental controls.

The study was conducted via one of the biggest hardcore gaming forums around. Do violent video games need health warnings on the box?  There I was thinking that politicians had finally got the message that video games aren’t all bad. But it seems this is far from the truth. Barack Obama may be taking his Nintendo Wii to the White House with him but that hasn’t changed the general feeling amongst our law-makers that games are evil things which need moderating.

Can Blockbuster on PS3 compete with Netflix on Xbox 360? There is a rumor doing the rounds on the Web indicating that Blockbuster may be making its service available on the PS3 in the same way Microsoft partnered up with Netflix on the Xbox 360. If Sony does indeed partner up with Blockbuster, the service may give Netflix on the Xbox 360 a run for its money.
