Rockstar recently announced that Max Payne 3 would be delayed into fiscal year 2013, or May 29th in the US. While many gamers shrugged off the news initially, the hype around the game has started to build with the developer releasing some in-depth videos around the title.

Earlier this week Irrational Games revealed that Bioshock Infinite would have a mode called 1999. This new mode is supposed to be a hardcore difficulty setting paying homage to the games of the past.

The big news out today is around the official reveal of Resident Evil 6, the next iteration in the cannon. Capcom dropped an action packed trailer that reveals much about this “dramatic horror” game.

2K Marin’s announcement of a reimaged FPS XCOM game caused quite a stir amongst hardcore fans of the classic franchise. This prompted the studio to delay the release of the game as XCOM has been redesigned to be a bit more strategic in nature. Another studio recently revealed that another XCOM game was currently in development that may cater towards the hardcore fans.

Fans of the classic Space Quest series will be happy to hear that a retouched version of the second game has been released for free. The folks over at Infamous Adventures took it upon themselves to overhaul Space Quest II with updated graphics and more.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the latest entry in the popular series released by Ubisoft, which is a continuation of the overarching story of the secret war between the Assassins and Templars. Revelations will intertwine the stories of Desmond Miles, Altair La-Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze in a way never seen before in the series.
