Where now for Nintendo - Wii price cut to counter PS3, Xbox 360 cuts?The Wii has done phenomenally well since it was released, grabbing a huge market share and leading the PS3 and Xbox 360 consistently since the three have been on sale together. But things are starting to slow down in the Nintendo camp, and the price cuts for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and slimline redesign of the PS3 mean it has to act, and fast. So, where to now for the Wii?

August NPD Sales - PS2 sales decline, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS & PSP all up July was a slow month in gaming with sales dropping for the past five months. However, August looks to be a new month with some indication of the holiday season finally creeping upon us. Almost all of the platforms increased in August from July, with the PS3 taking an exceptional leap. Unfortunately, the legendary PS2 continues its downward spiral.
